I will not be able to fill orders at this time.
In 1980, I was wandering thru a craft store when I saw the most interesting booklet on their shelf. It was about making miniature furniture. And my love of miniatures was born.
As the years went by I mentioned that I would like to open a miniatures store. My mother and I were walking thru a small mall in 1987, when we saw a 175 square foot shop for rent. Mom said, "You know if you open a store, I AM going to work in it 3 days a week. And I won't take any pay!"
MESH Miniatures was born, along with another miniaturist.
I had a brick and mortar store for 8 years, six of them in that same mall, just in six different locations. The last move for the shop was across the street and half way down the block.
In approximately 1990, we started doing miniature shows along with the shop. I closed the physical shop in 1995, but continue doing miniature shows even now, selling mostly unpainted metals with a few handpainted ones thrown in.
In 2002, I found the most wonderful miniatures group on the internet. To join you have to be a tiny bit nuts (in a good way of course!). If you would like to find out about this wacky, fun loving group, just follow the link at the bottom, left hand side of the page. We have many wonderful artisans and have so much fun learning new things from each other.
